Twice upon a time in Norway
With the tragic terror attack 22nd of July 2011, the circle of religious madness in Norway, were completed. This is the story of what took place in the late 80's and early 90's. People were murdered, some committed suicide, churches was burnt to the ground, and everything evolved out of the music scene we know as "Black Metal" today. It's almost unreal to look back at everything. The record shop mentioned as "Hell" in this documentary, was next door to where I lived. Varg Vikernes or "Greven" (The Count - in English) was a guy we were used to see around in clubs. He was generally considered to be a clown among people in Oslo's rock scene. If anyone had told me he was soon going to kill Øystein Aarseth, I would have shook my head and laughed. "Greven" was a skinny girlish looking guy, while Aarseth was quite the opposite. What went on the night of his murder remains a mystery. I'm not going to speculate in what really happen...
